Designed and contructed poorly June 6, 2011

This product really seemed promising, but it was a bust. I purchased this in a retail store to use with dishwashing soap, and the pump mechanism did not work. I contacted the company about getting a replacement pumper, and the representative unhelpfully suggested that I return the soap pumper to the store where I purchased it, even though I had already used it. I had to quote back to them their 100% satisfaction guarantee in order to convince them to send me another soap pumper (I would've liked to just have the pump mechanism to reduce waste, but they don't have individual parts available). Now that I have a functioning pump mechanism, I'm still dissapointed. The bottle doesn't hold very much because of the indentation in the bottom from the funnel. It's annoying to use the funnel, because then you have to clean it before it goes back into the bottom of the pumper. The pump mechanism itself is also not great-- it is hard to pump it and it tends to dribble on the counter. If I'd realized it at the time, I would have just purchased a brand of dishwashing soap that comes in a pump-style bottle (method makes an attractive one), and refilled that one. It would've been a lot cheaper, and probably would've worked better.

I found this originally in a store and purchased two for shampoo and conditioner containers for my shower. They work great! I have had no problems with the pump, a mess, or anything else. In fact, I am buying more to replace my body wash and children's bath product containers as well.

I was really excited about this product because of the funnel. When it came in the mail, my excitement was dampened when I realized it's made out of plastic and not ceramic, as I thought. Perhaps it says it in the description but I didn't notice it. The plastic is still good quality, but it just was a little less classy than I was expecting. I filled it with soap, the funnel was very handy. Unfortunately, I never got past that. The pump didn't work. I had soap everywhere trying to figure out how to fix it. After several days of trying to figure out how to get it working, I just ended up returning it.
